On August 12th, 2023, The Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the area of Heritage Drive and Crossings Boulevard in Caernarvon Township Berks County for an auto accident.

Ambulance 89-1 and Engine 69-1 made the response and were advised of a 2 vehicle accident with at least 1 subject injured. Engine 69-1 arrived and confirmed the report and their crew mitigated the hazards on the vehicles and directed traffic around the scene of the accident. Ambulance 89-1 arrived to triage the scene for potential injured patients. Ambulance 89-1 determined a second ambulance would be needed and had Chief 69 (Hornberger) request an additional ambulance to the scene.

Ambulance 189-1 was alerted as the second Ambulance for this incident. Ambulance 89-1's crew completed triage of the patients and awaited the arrival of Ambulance 189. Ambulance 189 arrived and was given their patients and both Ambulances transported the patients to an area hospital for further evaluation.

Engine 69-1 remained on the scene to allow the police department to conduct an investigation and to await the arrival of the tow company.
