On September 16th, 2023, Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and Micu 193 were dispatched to the area of Best Road in Caernarvon Township Lancaster County for a medical emergency.

Ambulance 89-1 and Micu 193 made the response with additional reports from the 911 center of a subject in a creek having a medical emergency. Ambulance 89-1 arrived and was directed by family to the rear of the property near a wood line and a creek. Ambulance 89-1's personnel evaluated the situation and determined that the fire company would be needed to safely extricate the subject from the creek.

The Caernarvon Fire Company of Churchtown arrived and under the direction of EMS personnel the patient was placed into a stokes basket and safely pulled from the creek. The patient was transported by Ambulance 89 and Micu 93 to an area hospital for an evaluation.
