On November 14th, 2023, The East Brandywine Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the 1700 Block of Horseshoe Pike in West Brandywine Township for an auto accident.

Ambulance 189 and East Brandywine units responded and were advised of a single vehicle accident after a police pursuit with 1 patient complaining of injuries. Ambulance 189 arrived and was directed to the patient by the Pennsylvania State Police officers. East Brandywine units arrived and assisted with traffic control around the scene while checking the vehicle for potential hazards.

Ambulance 189 transported 1 patient to an area hospital for their injuries along with the Pennsylvania State Police. Great job to the Pennsylvania State Police and the local area police departments for their swift work in detaining the subject and preventing a potential catastrophe.
