Serious Accident In Caernarvon Township Lancaster County

On February 23rd, 2024, at 22:28 the Caernarvon Township Fire Company (Churchtown) along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and WellSpan Medics were dispatched to the area of Main Street and Glick Roads in Caernarvon Township Lancaster County for an auto accident reported serious.

Ambulance 89-1 responded along with Lancaster County 34 units and were advised by the Lancaster County 911 Center of a single vehicle that had overturned and struck a telephone pole. Lancaster County 34 units arrived to confirm the report and advised of no entrapment and 1 patient that would need to be transported. Ambulance 89-1 arrived and started care for the patient while Lancaster County 34 units handled the hazards on the vehicle.

Ambulance 89-1 and WellSpan Medic 4-40 transported 1 patient to an area hospital for their injuries. Lancaster County 34 units remained on the scene to await the arrival of the utility company and also provided traffic control and lighting of the scene.

Ambulance 89-1 cleared this incident at 23:52.
