Two-Vehicle Accident In Elverson Borough

On May 25th, 2024, at 21:38 Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and Tower Direct Medics were dispatched to the area of W. Main and S. Chestnut streets in Elverson Borough for an auto accident.

Ambulance 89 and Deputy 69 (Romig) made the response at 21:39 and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center of a 2-vehicle accident with 1 patient complaining of chest pain. Ambulance 89 arrived at 21:41 and their crew started triaging the scene for potential patients. Deputy 69 arrived and was advised of 5 patients and 2 additional ambulances were requested to the scene. Deputy 69 held the command for this incident.

Rescue 69 arrived and assisted EMS as needed while also controlling the hazards on the vehicles. As the additional EMS units arrived, they were given their respective patients by the 89 Bls crew. Ambulance 89, Ambulance 189, Micu 193 all transported their respective patients to an area hospital for further evaluations. Rescue 69 remained on the scene to assist the police department with lighting during their investigation and to await the arrival of a tow company.

All Elverson-Honey Brook EMS units were clear of the this call at 23:30.
