On June 28th, 2024, Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and Uwchlan Ambulance Corps Paramedics were dispatched to the intersection of Conestoga and Nantmeal Roads in East Nantmeal Township for a reported serious auto accident.

Twin Valley Fire Department units along with mutual aid responded and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a vehicle into a tree with one subject trapped. Ambulance 89 arrived to confirm the report and started patient care. Rescue 69 arrived and assumed command for this incident and at the request of Ambulance 89 scaled the assignment back to units on the scene which recalled the Paramedic. Fire Police were requested to the scene to shut the roadway down by the command. PSP arrived and the scene was turned over to them to conduct an investigation.
