Two-Vehicle Accident Reported With Fire In Honey Brook Township

On August 27th, 2024, at 22:06 Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and Tower Direct Micu 193 were dispatched to the area of Twin County and Todd Roads in Honey Brook Township for an auto accident reported with fire.

Honey Brook Fire Company units along with EMS responded and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center of a two-vehicle accident with smoke coming from under the hood of one vehicle. Additional callers reported at least 1 subject with injuries and fluids were leaking from the vehicles.

Ambulance 189 and Tower Direct Micu 193 arrived, and their crews triaged the scene for potential patients. Deputy 33 (Ream) arrived and confirmed no fire and assumed the command for this incident. Honey Brook Fire Company units arrived and controlled the hazards on the vehicles and swept debris from the roadway.

Ambulance 189 and Micu 193 cleared the scene a short time later and the Honey Brook Fire Company units remained on the scene to provide lighting for the police department.
