Serious Auto Accident In Honey Brook Township

On October 10th, 2024, Twin Valley Fire Department, Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the area of N. Birdell and Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township for an auto accident.

Responding units were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported 2 vehicles were involved with unknown injuries. Additional callers reported the accident to be serious with 1 subject trapped and Paramedics from Tower Direct and a Rescue truck from the East Brandywine Fire Company were dispatched to the scene. Honey Brook Fire Company apparatus cleared the scene of a fire in Salisbury Township Lancaster County to respond and help the Twin Valley Fire Department personnel who happened to be on standby at their station during the fire.

Responding units arrived to find a 2-vehicle accident with 1 subject in serious condition. Rescue 33 arrived, and the subject was extricated from the vehicle. Fire Police were requested to the scene by the incident commander as the roadway would be closed for an extended period of time.

Ambulance 189 cleared the scene at 6:19 am.
