On October 18th, 2024, The Twin Valley Fire Department was dispatched to Isabella Road in West Nantmeal Township for a fire type unknown.

Twin Valley Fire Department units made the response, and the Chester County 911 Center advised that the caller reported a large fire in the middle of a field. Additional callers reported a possible house was on fire with a barn as an exposure and they could see very "tall flames".

Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived at 21:18 to confirm the barn and house were on fire and assumed command of this incident. Chief 69 reported that the homeowners were not accounted for and advised that they may have entrapment. Chief 69 requested a "Working Fire Dispatch" which added additional units to the assignment. Chief 69 requested a 2nd alarm assignment to the scene due to the progression of the fire which added additional units from Berks, Chester, Lancaster, Montgomery Counties.

Twin Valley Fire Department units arrived and began fire suppression efforts. Chief 69 gave mutual aid units their assignments as they arrived on the scene. Ambulance 89, Medic 193, Micu 244 worked collaboratively to provide Rehab for the firefighters. Chief 69 reported no entrapment of the homeowners as they were accounted for. Chief 69 requested a canteen and additional Rehab services to the scene to provide food and drinks for the Fire and EMS personnel.

The fire was officially placed under control at 00:36 with all hands working. The assignment was eventually scaled back to Twin Valley Fire Department, Glenmoore, Ludwigs Corner Fire Companies and EMS.

Ambulance 89 cleared the scene at 5:21 am.
