On December 11th, 2024, at 10:59 Glenmoore Fire Company along with mutual aid units were dispatched to the Peter J Camiel Plaza in Wallace Township for a building fire.

Glenmoore Fire Company units and mutual aid units responded and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a burnt smell in the building with a haze. EMS Chief 89 (Welch) responded to assist the cover ambulance from Uwchlan Ambulance Corps as the Elverson-Honey Brook Ambulances were committed to other calls during this time.

Glenmoore Fire Company units along with mutual aid arrived to find a smoke condition inside of the building. Chief 48 (DeCarlo) arrived and assumed the command for this incident. Interior crews investigated for the possible source of the haze and requested Twin Valley Fire Department Ladder 69 setup their ladder to investigate the roof. As additional units arrived, they were given their assignments by the commander. Chief 48 requested a response from Peco as the crews reported a burnt motor on the rooftop HVAC unit.

The situation was placed under control by the command with all hands working to ventilate the building of smoke while also securing the power to the HVAC unit.

Chief 89 cleared the scene at 11:34.
