Vehicle Strikes A Pole In Caernarvon Township-Lancaster County

On January 20th, 2025, Caernarvon Fire Company (Churchtown) along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the 2200 block of Main Street in Caernarvon Township Lancaster County for an auto accident.

Caernarvon Fire Company units and Ambulance 189 made the response and were advised by the Lancaster County 911 Center that the reporting party advised of a single vehicle accident versus a pole with debris all over the roadway.

Caernarvon Fire Company units arrived and began patient care while also controlling the hazards on the vehicle. Ambulance 189 arrived a short time later to take over care of the patient. A notification was made to the utility company as the pole was damaged from the vehicle striking it.

Ambulance 189 transported 1 patient to an area hospital for their injuries that were sustained from the accident. Caernarvon Fire Company units remained on the scene to assist the State Police with their accident investigation and also provided traffic control around the accident scene.

Ambulance 189 cleared the call at 17:04.
