June 20th, 2023, The Honey Brook Fire Company along with numerous area fire and Ems units were dispatched to the Honeybrook Gardens in Honey Brook Borough for a reported building fire.
Chief 33 (Kern) and Ambulance 189 made the response and were advised that the caller reported a smoke condition in the building from an unknown source.
Units arrived to confirm the report and quickly investigated the situation and traced the source back to a burnt up washer belt. The assignment was scaled back to the Honey Brook units and Ambulance 189. The 33 units remained on the scene to ventilate the smoke from the building. Ambulance 189 also remained on the scene and stood by while the FD operated. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
Ambulance 189 and Honey Brook Fire Company cleared a short time later.
