On August 19th, 2023, at 2:49 am the Honey Brook Fire Company along with the Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and neighboring agencies were called to the 4000 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Borough for a building fire.
Ambulance 189-1 and MICU 193 made the immediate response and were the first arriving units to report a fully involved working building fire. The Honey Brook Fire Company was the first arriving engine, and their crews began suppression efforts. Additional arriving units were given their assignments as they arrived. Ambulance 189 and MICU 193 setup rehab for the firefighters and stood-by to assure the safety of the firefighters was not compromised while operating at the scene.
Thanks to the great suppression efforts by the Honey Brook Fire Company and neighboring agencies the fire was quickly brought under control at 3:26.
Crews remained on the scene for the Fire Marshals office to conduct an investigation. An excavator was brought into the scene to begin demolition of the building.
