Ambulance Assist On Barn Fire In Honey Brook Township

On January 4th, 2024, at 18:19 Elverson-Honey Brook EMS along with mutual aid Fire and EMS agencies were dispatched to the 700 block of Park Road in Honey Brook Township to assist the Honey Brook Fire Company on a house fire.
Ambulance 89-1 responded along with the Honey Brook Fire Company units and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported flames coming from a house. Chief 33 (Kern) arrived and confirmed a working barn fire and requested a "Working Fire Dispatch" which added additional mutual aid to the assignment. Chief 33 assumed command and requested a tanker task force to the scene to supply water to the scene.
Ambulance 89-1 arrived and stood by while also performing rehab for the firefighters on the scene. A Canteen unit from North Penn Goodwill Services in Montgomery County was requested to the scene. The fire was placed under control by Chief 33 with all units working.
Ambulance 89-1 cleared the scene at 00:17 hours.
