On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Lieutenant J. Motter and Lieutenant V. Motter had the opportunity to travel to Maryland to train with the Fair Hill Emergency Response Team on large animal rescue.

This training went over safe horse movement, horse and handler rescue, and horse trailer rescue/considerations. The training will be highly valuable with the large number of equestrian farms and events that occur within our area. While we hope to never need this training, we are excited to be able to have the knowledge to serve the horse community in this way!
