On April 3rd, 2024, at 4:46 am Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the1000 block of Twin County Road in Honey Brook Township for an auto accident.
Ambulance 189 and the Honey Brook Fire Company units made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the accident would be a single vehicle versus a tree. Chief 33 (Kern) and Ambulance 189 arrived and determined that a Medic and a second ambulance would be needed. Tower Direct Micu 193 and Ambulance 89 were dispatched to the scene by the Chester County 911 Center. Chief 33 then requested a 2nd medic to the scene at the request of Ambulance 189 which added Micu 244.
Rescue 33 and Engine 33-1 arrived and handled the hazards on the vehicle while also performing traffic control. Ambulance 189, Micu 193 and Ambulance 89 transported their patients to an area hospital for further care. It was determined that Ambulance 89's patient did not require ALS services from Micu 244 and that unit was recalled. The Honey Brook Fire Company units cleared the scene a short time later after the Pennsylvania State Police arrived.
