On April 26th, 2024, at 11:53 am the Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and mutual aid were dispatched to the unit block of Lasso Drive in Honey Township for a reported house fire.
Honey Brook Fire Company units along with Ambulance 189 and mutual aid made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center of a stove fire with extension into the cabinets. Additional calls into the 911 center indicated that the caller believed the fire had been extinguished using a fire extinguisher.
Engine 33-1 and Engine 33-5 arrived and found a light smoke condition inside of the house. Upon further investigation by the Honey Brook Fire Company personnel, it was determined that the fire was indeed extinguished, and their crew performed minor overhaul operations. Command was established by the Assistant 33 (Romig) and the assignment was held to the units onscene. Ambulance 189 arrived and stood by while the fire personnel operated at the scene.
Ambulance 189 cleared the call at 12:37 pm. |
