Day 2 of the Law Enforcement United Road to Hope ride began in Galloway New Jersey and ended in Bethany Beach Delaware. The morning started with limited visibility, moderate rain, high winds, and costal flood warnings across a significant portion of the route. This morning took the riders over several elevated bridges as well as multiple causeways. Stops on the day included the Ocean City Airport, lunch generously hosted by the Angelsea Fire Company in Wildwood, a trip across the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, and finally to Bethany Beach. In spite of many difficulties encountered, especially in the morning portion of the ride, everyone made it safely to our end point tonight. Tomorrow will be the longest portion of the ride yet. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s update.
