Elverson Honey Brook EMS Ambulance 89-1 responded with multiple local fire companies to a trailer fire on Twin County Road. All of the human occupants made it safely out of the residence, unfortunately one of our feline friends suffered smoke inhalation. While standing by for the fire department as they conducted suppression operations, EMT Motter rendered care to the injured cat.
EMT Motter provided oxygen and other respiratory support to help our patient recover. Fortunately, just in time for the cat's owner to arrive, our patient began breathing better and returned to their normal selves. This happy reunion was the best outcome for all involved.
Many in our department are animal lovers. When there are no human patients to provide care for, we are happy to provide care for our four legged friends. Thank you EMT Motter for the care you provided! |
