On January 23rd, 2025, at 18:33 Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and Twin Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the 4000 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Borough for a chimney fire.
Honey Brook Fire Company units along with Ambulance 89 and Ladder 69 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a fire in the chimney of the house.
Deputy 33 (Romig) arrived at 18:36 to confirm an active chimney fire and established the command for this incident. Honey Brook Fire Company units arrived, and their crews checked the Divisions of the house and reported a light haze in the attic. Ambulance 89 arrived and stood-by while the fire personnel operated on the scene. Ladder 69 arrived, and their assignment was to drop the chains down the chimney to extinguish the fire.
The situation was placed under control at 19:13 by the incident commander. Ambulance 89 was released from the scene at 19:14. |
