On February 6th, 2025, at 13:54 Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the Holiday Inn in Morgantown for an elevator rescue.
Twin Valley Fire Department units and Ambulance 89 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported 3 subjects were stuck in the malfunctioning elevator on the 2nd floor. The caller also advised that none of the subjects stuck in the elevator were in distress.
Twin Valley Fire Department units and Ambulance 89 arrived to confirm the report. Twin Valley Fire Department personnel worked to safely extricate the subjects from the malfunctioning elevator with Chief 69 (Hornberger) overseeing the operation. Chief 69 placed the situation under control at 14:51 and advised that the subjects were extricated from the elevator.
Ambulance 89's crew confirmed that the subjects did not need any EMS services and cleared the scene at 14:55. |
