On February 15th, 2025, at 22:15 Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the 4000 block of Conestoga Road in East Nantmeal Township for an auto accident.
Twin Valley Fire Department units along with Ambulance 89 made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a vehicle versus a tree with 3 subjects to be checked. The Chester County 911 Center took it upon themselves to add an additional ambulance to the assignment.
Ambulance 89 and Deputy 69 (Spangler) arrived to confirm the report and upon further investigation determined a 3rd ambulance would be needed as there were up to 5 potential patients. Deputy 69 held the command for this incident and requested the 3rd ambulance to the scene. Ambulance 89's crew started triaging the patients and as additional ambulances arrived they were given their respective patients.
Twin Valley Fire Department units arrived and secured the hazards on the vehicle while also providing traffic control around the accident scene. All patients involved in the accident were transported to a local hospital while the Twin Valley Fire Department units remained on the scene to assist the police department with their investigation and to await the arrival of a local tow company. Deputy 69 requested the Chester County 911 Center to add the roadway to Penndot's list for salting purposes as the roadway was extremely icy. Ambulance 89 cleared the call at 00:16. |
