On March 26th, 2025, at 11:36 Honey Brook Fire Company along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and mutual aid were dispatched to the 1300 block of Walnut Street in Honey Brook Borough for a building fire.
Honey Brook Fire Company units along with mutual aid made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported smoke in the building and advised the building would be evacuated.
Honey Brook Fire Company units arrived to find smoke showing and their crew began suppression efforts. Ambulance 189 and Tower Direct Micu 193 arrived and setup rehab for the personnel on the scene. Chief 33 (Ream) arrived and assumed command for this incident and requested a "Working Fire Dispatch" which added additional mutual aid to the assignment. Engine 33-1's crew reported a fire in the attic of the building. As additional units arrived, they were given their assignments by the commander which included additional personnel for suppression efforts, ventilation, salvage and overhaul.
The fire was placed under control at 12:05 with all hands working. A request was made by the Commander for a response from the utility companies, fire marshal's and Belfor for board up services.
Ambulance 189 cleared the scene at 12:47.
