On April 18th, 2025, at 17:47 Twin Valley Fire Department along with Elverson-Honey Brook EMS were dispatched to the 100 block of Settlers Trail in Caernarvon Township Berks County for a reported house fire.

Twin Valley Fire Department and Mutual aid units made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported a fire in an upstairs bedroom. Additional callers reported smoke from the roof line and front vent of the house.

Berks County advised that the police department arrived to confirm a fire in the bedroom with loose ammunition in the bedroom. Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived to confirm heavy smoke from the roof line and assumed command for this incident and requested a "Working Fire Dispatch" which added additional units to the assignment. Twin Valley Fire Department and mutual aid units arrived and performed various task such as suppression efforts, searches, ventilation, salvage and overhaul. The fire was placed under control at 18:16 with all hands working. Ambulance 89 performed rehab for the personnel operating on the scene. Thankfully no injuries were reported at this fire and the occupants were able to safely evacuate the home.

The fire is under investigation by the Berks County Fire Marshall's and a request was made to PPL to secure the power to the home.

Ambulance 89 cleared the scene at 19:02.
