On May 14th, 2025, at 3:29 Honey Brook Fire Company, Elverson-Honey Brook EMS, Tower Direct Paramedics were dispatched to the 5200 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township for an auto accident with entrapment.
Honey Brook Fire Company units, Ambulance 189, Micu 93 all made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the caller reported 1 vehicle versus a pole with 1 subject trapped.
Chief 33 (Ream) arrived and assumed command for this incident and confirmed the report. Ambulance 189 and Micu 93 arrived 5 minutes after the dispatch and began care of the patient. Honey Brook Fire Company units arrived and began extrication of the patient from the vehicle. Chief 33 reported the Extrication was complete at 3:42. The patient was packaged for transport by Ambulance 189 and Micu 93's crew. Chief 33 made notifications to the utility company as the pole was sheered off and blocking the roadway.
Ambulance 189 and Micu 93 transported 1 subject to an area trauma center. Honey Brook Fire Company units remained on the scene to assist with lighting of the scene and to await the arrival of a tow company.
