On May 4, 2026, EHBEMS supported multiple units, including brush trucks and ATV teams from across the region, in responding to a brush fire near French Creek along the Chester and Berks County border. Crews remained at the scene for an extended period, prompting a canteen unit from Montgomery County, PA, to assist with rehabilitation for emergency personnel. After the fire was extinguished, crews returned to service with their respective counties.
